Innovative Learning Puts Students First!
Through the development of small learning communities centered around two academies, the students of Center Line High School will be exposed to a multitude of careers, industry skills, and potential employers through classroom speakers, site visits, job shadowing, and internships. Freshmen students explore their strengths and interests through career cruising, surveys, and business partner relationships. This in-depth exploration and research provides students with the information that they need to choose which pathway best suits them--either the Academy of Industry, Technology, and Innovation or the Health and Human Services Academy. The Strategic Plan for the district requires that all students who graduate from Center Line High School exit with an industry- recognized certification and/or college credit. Both of the academies have been designed according to the National Standards of Practice for Career Academies.
